Stairway To Gilligan’s Island

Get this single here: This mash up was created by Little Roger and the Goosebumps. I asked Roger Clark if he would be cool with me covering this and he said that was ok with him. He’s a swell fella. This video is from my Sequestered Summertime Streaming Show on VEEPS streaming platform. I’ll be continuing my streaming shows until I can get back on the road. You can get the original autographed 45 single from Little Roger and the Goosebumps here: Little Roger and The Goosebumps

Absolutely fricking incredible, amazing, and the most entertaining thing I have seen in a long, long time. I was just made aware of Puddles today, and now I am crushed that I have let years go by, and opportunities lost to see him perform in person. Now, we are trapped in what looks to be an endless life of live shows no more. Thank you Puddles, you put a huge smile on my face today and gave me a wee bit o’ hope for humanity. The LORD has blessed you with an awesome talent, and I cannot wait to look for more of your incredible singing.

Your performance of ‘One More Light’ is very akin to Solomon’s Book of Ecclesiastes about how life is a vapor (hevel) and, on the horizontal plane without a connection to God, it makes no sense and has no purpose. But there is wisdom there and it leads to the first request:
    1] Turn, Turn, Turn
and the second, as one of those meandering thoughts in space that landed in my brain (while I was sleeping?)
2] Lyle Lovett’s ‘Church’ — this is a great tune where religious faith meets human simplicity and we all come away smiling.

You have a gift, my friend.

If ever we meet I would be honored to have a meal with you.

  5. Could you sing And She Was by Talking Heads?

  6. Well I dont understand anything anymore- all I know is that right now Im in love with a huge white clown with beautiful eyes and voice that makes me tremble- and cry and laugh…
You have cast some kind of spell over 100’s of 1,000’s of people. I think I get it, -you are the new messiah, an alien? an angel ? I dont care- whatever you are I will follow you to the end of the earth.
My deepest wish is to hear you sing…

‘Wild is the wind’ – (1957) Johny Mathis, David Bowie Nina Simone,
Your version would be by far the best.

‘First time ever I saw your face’ 1969 Roberta Flack
because, I have thought the sun rose in your eyes and the moon and the stars were the gifts you gave to the dark and the endless skys. (my love)

‘If you go away’ – Sinatra , Dusty Springfield , Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond – everyone.
…..but your version would be by far the best.

These are perfect songs for you.

How about a mash up of the Beverly Hillbillies theme sung to Suzanne Vega’s tune Tom’s Diner? I think it would fit quite well.

A friend of mine here in Portland OR was playing a few songs he liked for me and i heard the guy sing “creep” A radio head song.. I asked who is this guy? He’s amazing! “Puddles pity party” he said. I had to look him up. I have since listed to at least a dozen songs he has done and OMG! Stairway to Gilligans Isle and War Pigs are my favorites so far. the other mix he has done with a metallica song and a Celine Dion song I have yet to hear. I am looking forward to listening to it when i get off work in 10 mins. ty Puddles for not only being a gifted singer but for being a clown with a great big heart. TY, I am your new fan! Jonny B

  11. Several years ago I did lights for Puddles for his show at the Crest theater In Sacramento. I was reluctant to do the show but did it out of curiosity. It was amazing, and I was so inspired by Puddles that I decided to get back into music. That night I went home and started playing the piano and singing again. Well it’s been about 3+ years since and this week I got signed to the band Legions of Decency and will be touring Europe in the spring. Just wanted to say thank you Puddles I would have never done it had I not seen you that night. Hope to see you on the road. Rock. Ron D

Hey ya’all in the Puddles Universe. Just saw Puddles at the Genesee Theater in Waukegan, IL on 1-19-24. Great show. My wife daughter and daughter’s boyfriend attended. We all had a great time. Second time my wife and I saw Puddles. The other time was at the City Winery in Chicago, IL in 2023. Puddles brought me on stage at that show to sing “All by Myself” Karaoke style. This was a great thrill for me, massive enjoyment. Thank you Puddles.
I noticed during the last show that Puddles conveyed a message of hope, joy and optimism. I enjoyed the song “Come on up to the House”. A feeling of peace and serenity came over me listening to that song.
I am writing this comment to say thank you to Puddles Pity Party and his posse for bringing great joy to people with his art and performances. Thank you Puddles for sending and providing love and optimism to us in the audience. Have a great show. With love and admiration. Mark.
PS: I like Kevin Costner too.
