Puddles Pity Party

Many P³ers asked me for a tribute to Chris Cornell. This song spoke to me. I asked my friend, and Atlanta Braves Organist, Matthew Kaminski to collaborate on it. I added a little “What’ll I Do” by Irving Berlin in there. Chris Cornell made some moving and intense music. I hope we did right by it.

So, I went on AGT and it was terrifying and exciting and wonderful! I got so emotional, I barely kept it together. I sang a Postmodern Jukebox arrangement of Sia’s “Chandelier”. I love my  collaborations with Scott Bradlee & I ❤️ y’all. #AGT #SaveThemAll

Friday Feels time, y’all! “Estoy Sentado Aqui” was penned by Cesar Rosas and recorded by Los Lobos. It was also performed by Cheech Marin in the Kevin Costner classic Tin Cup. My grito could use some work.

Back in 1994 or so, I saw Gregory Dean Smalley perform this mashup at the Star Community Bar. I was floored. Greg was a force of supernatural proportions and he is missed. Many people have done it prior to me doing it. I guess it was always meant to be.
